Coaching Philosophy:

Figure Skating should always be regarded as much an art as it is a sport. While we strive for proper technique, we must not forget the beauty of such movement and its limitless potential for one's self-expression and self-worth. Cultivating personality in such an art form strikes a healthy balance with the discipline and hardwork necessary to ascend skating at its highest level. This sense of fulfillment and achievement is a feeling that we should aspire to have our students experience as often as possible. In tandem, lies the importance of atmosphere and mental health. Positivity and encouragement should always be fostered; and a sense of community not to be underestimated. It is important for a skater to have a multi-faceted support system among not just parents and coaches -- but also peers-- to cultivate his or her full potential.
